Should I get the jersey lettered with a captain "C", or no, just leave it as is?

I would say no... till the Sabres decide if they continue with Pommer as captain or if they fall back to the stupid rotating-system...

If Pommer becomes the captain put a C on your jersey, if not let your jersey just as it is now...

it sounds like they are going to keep him as captain as they have had gerbe talk with him and probly schutz too, but i would wait, i think it cost me $7-$10 to put the c on my jersey at Sorrentinos up on sheridan drive, near putt-putt. say get the blank jersey and then wait and see. i am assuming you want the jersey because you like pominville, not just the c.

Yea. I actually took it down to the Sabres store. 55 bucks, C or not, they letter it and give it back to me. I figure why not.

Just get a Slug. People will know who they are with that jersey.

First off, I say wait for the retro until they come out with the EDGE version. Secondly, I got a slug because I already have a retro. Finally, I got the "C" on the jersey, and the Sabres store just returned it to me today. So very nice

Where are you getting it numbered/lettered, out of curiosity, and how much would it cost? I want to get an edge jersey but I think I might buy a blank one, then wait til the off season to see if anything is done, anyone new signed (although I doubt it), re signings, etc.

Yes. And if you're going to do what I do, you save about 60 bucks.
Buy a blank jersey from finish line. They're only 60 bucks. Then take it downtown to the Sabres store. It's only 55 dollars, and they only took about a week with my jersey before they called me and returned it. Seriously, it's a really good deal doing it that way!

Do you know by any chance if the Sabres Store would allow me to send it to them, they letter it and send it back? Cause I kind of live in Toronto, so unless I go to Buffalo for a weekend then go the following weekend it might be kind of hard (which I can't really do), lol.

Quite honestly, I'm not sure. So I suggest giving the arena a call. You can find their number somewhere on the Sabres site, I'm sure.

YES, I have had two jerseys lettered by the Sabres store and i live in Kansas. Call them and they will give you the address to send it to. The last one i sent to them was back on my doorstep within 10 days and is perfect. The Sabres store is the best for lettering - you can't go wrong.

Well, good. Because that's how I got it lol.

As of now, I would say "no" since it isn't definite. But I think it would be a good call, especially if he agrees to an extension to stay with us this summer *crosses fingers*
