I don't have many photos showing the backs of players from that year. The only thing I see is maybe the inside of the A should be a triangle and not the rhombus(?) shape. Here's an image from a home jersey from around that time...

You can see the different A style. I'm pretty sure the roads were the same.

Check out the logo on the front of that game used jersey...

Notice the buffalo is in the wrong orientation? See his rear leg is up past the tip of the sword compared to the logo from the OP above that shows the tip of the sword somewhere between the leg and tail.

The jersey I have from '94 has the tip of the sword almost even with the tail.

The old authentics had the crest made from cut and sewn twill. The only part that was embroidered were the handles of the swords, all the rest of the pieces were placed by hand, heat pressed and then sewn. Doing it this way makes each crest a little bit different.

The letters on the Lafontaine jersey are correct for the alternates used a couple of years ago. The older Font was narrower and as was said, the "A" did not have a bar across the top.

eh, its good enough for me. better than the crap they wear these days....sounds like you gotta too much time on your hands bud wink.gif

I bought the patch on ebay. Was torn between the 100th anniversay stanley cup patch, the 75th NHL and the 25th sabres patch. But the '91 season lafotnaine scorred somthing like 148 points, so thats how I made the decision.

Had some left over sabre-bucks so i took it down to the arena and they did for me in 3 days.

Cant wait to wear it!! and bought my first gamepack this year, cant wait!!

I wish the people I have to deal with on a daily basis had your "good enough" philososphy.

Let's just say that the lettering on Sabres jerseys does take up a lot of my time.
